IX. Restitution

If we are painstaking about this phase of our development, we will be amazed before we are half way through.
We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness.
We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it.
We will comprehend the word serenity and we will know peace.
No matter how far down the scale we have gone, we will see how our experience can benefit others.
That feeling of uselessness and self-pity will disappear.
We will lose interest in selfish things and gain interest in our fellows.
Self seeking will slip away.
Our whole attitude and outlook upon life will change.
Fear of people and of economic insecurity will leave us.
We will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us.
We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us what we could not do for ourselves.

Are these extravagant promises? We think not. They are being fulfilled among us - sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. They will always materialize if we work for them.

Dream Theater, Repentance

Bueno, aqui vuelvo con noticias frescas y con la letra de Repentance, de la saga de Alcoholicos Anonimos de Theater. Portnoy invito a varios artistas amigos suyos a grabar las frases del final de la cancion, que son experiencias y frases personales de ellos mismos, y fueron en concreto: Mikael Åkerfeldt, Jon Anderson, David Ellefson, Daniel Gildenlöw, Steve Hogarth, Chris Jericho, Neal Morse, Joe Satriani, Corey Taylor, Steve Vai y Steven Wilson. Desde los alrededores del año 2000 Mike se ha mantenido sobrio y ha podido superar el alcoholismo.

Ahora, las noticias...
1- Hemos propuesto a Dani Linero que sea nuestro vocalista, y él ya aceptó y nos preguntó que cuando había que empezar xdxdxd. Este chaval para quien no lo conozca dire que es un melomano de cuidado, que escucha una infinidad de bandas y generos muy amplia (con decir que en el encontre a otro "o'funkatico" en este maldito planeta... xdxdxd). Estamos contentos con la incorporacion, porque funcione o no seguro que con él nos lo pasaremos de puta madre xdxdxd. Además él tiene la parte musical teórica que nosotros pues no tenemos, y eso es muy útil. Y canta bien xdxdxd. Suerte, compi... xdxdxd ¡¡¡y Carpe Diem!!! xdxdxd
2- Viiiideo nuevo de Orion colgado en la red... esta vez aunque cometimos un par de fallos y mi ampli suena como suena se nota muchisimo la mejora del sonido (el sotano insonorizado) y la mejora tecnica nuestra. Espero que os guste:

3- En camino el ampli del Arturo, que ya esta pedido y llegara de un momento a otro... y hablando de Arturo... ¡¡¡Feliz cumpleaños, canijo!!! xdxdxd
4- Un amigo de Ricardo le prestó una Epiphone Les Paul (que de Les Paul solo tiene la forma T____T) y un ampli Marshall pequeñito, de 10 o 15 W. En nuestro último ensayo y de ahora en adelante hasta que me cambie de ampli yo me dejará usar ese... aunque tenga la misma potencia, se nota una mejora destacable en la calidad del sonido (sobretodo fue comprobado cn el shredding y con el fragmento del solo de Play With Me... mucho mas limpio así xdxdxd)
5-Menos de un messs... sigo impaciente para el concierto que tanto he esperado... xdxdxd
